Hoisin and Peanut Dipping Sauce

Makes 2/3 cup

2 tsp caster sugar
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 cup (60ml) water
1/4 cup (60ml) hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp crushed roasted peanuts

Stir sugar, vinegar and the water in small saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

Stir in sauce and nuts.

Goes well with stir-fried asian greens, chicken, pork and beef.
